The true ages are different than what is popularly promoted

Consider the measure of the zodiacal constellations as measured along the ecliptic. From the measures given in “13 or 14 Zodiacal Constellations”, we can derive a new history of precessional ages according to what is defined by the actual boundaries of each specific region. Some ages according to this layout are longer than the stated average of 2,160 years (2,138 years for the 71.269 year per degree precession from the Mayan based calculation). A few ages are much shorter. The 2,160 years is an averaged figure given for 12 equal zodiacal constellations, which of course, is not the actual case. There are 13 constellations and a 14th overlapping one given particular considerations. We can appreciate that for the 3 measured degrees of the tip of Orion that almost intersects the ecliptic, that this special period measures a mere 213 to 216 years given a precession of one degree every 71 to 72 years.

The next problem to consider is where to measure from and we have four specific points from which to measure, being the equinox and solstice points. Different cultures have different start points for the year measured from one of these four points. Western culture today choose the spring equinox and this is born out in the ephemerides with their Spring Vernal Point (SVP) conversion number for changing planetary positions from tropical to sidereal coordinates. This point alone tells us about two systems in use that must be cross converted back and forth. Both the Hindus and the Maya us the sidereal, as you see it in the sky approach, whereas in the west we stick with the tropical and standard definition of the spring equinox.

According to the Maya, from which much inspiration has been derived, there is no fixed period for the start or end of and age due to the nature and complexity of cycles they follow. It just so happened that the end of the last long count coincided exactly with the winter solstice. But this was number 4 in a series of 5 and hence the term, the age of the fifth sun or the fifth world, which has just commenced and will run for 5,125 years and 110 days. Some would then jump off and say that we should start at the winter solstice point, but in so doing, forget the point of opposition in Orion near the Gemini-Taurus boundary that contains the heart of sky and the summer solstice point. Further, this is true for the current epoch only and will soon slip out of synch, not to realign until a full 25,626 to 25,627 years pass according to 5 long counts.

What is considered at this point, are the true length of ages for the 13 zodiacal signs and how they link with history. Given the rate of precession set at 71 to 72 (71.269 averaged) years for one degree, we calculate the various eons for each sign on the ecliptic as follows.

Movement of the critical seasonal points

Currently, the summer solstice point (SSP) is located near the juncture of Gemini-Taurus with the actual location being approximately 29 degrees 30 minutes of Taurus (epoch 2010). On the opposite side of the sky, the winter solstice point (WSP) is located approximately in 5 degrees of Sagittarius. This is the layout as seen in a real sky, so we do not get the result of 29 degrees and 30 minutes of Scorpio as expected in the standard zodiac for opposing points. It remains to calculate the real spring vernal and fall vernal points (SVP and FVP respectively). These are the sidereal points in the heavens and are placed in the standard or tropical zodiac in the illustration.

According to table 1, the real Spring Vernal point lies between 3 to 4 degrees of Pisces for 2010 when the perihelion position is accounted for. We tend to calculate from that point called the Spring Vernal Point (SVP) or spring equinox as far as defining the precessional ages, but this is by no means universal. According to the foregoing, the age of Pisces has more than 213 years to play out before the age of Aquarius begins, but will not go beyond 285 years from 2010. We now have a point from which to calculate the true ages according to what is defined by the ecliptic.

For the purposes of this work, we will be looking at the ages from the position of all four seasonal points and from the Mayan perspective, two more in addition, making six points in all to define not only the zodiacal ages, but in analysis of what all the six influences have to contribute to the whole. The dates in question are March 21st, June 22nd, Sept, 22nd, Dec. 21St, Aug. 12th and May 1s.t. In the context of this work, they are called the SVP, SSP, FVP, WSP and two new dates, MP for May 1st and AP for August 12th. Consider the diagram of the 13 ecliptic signs and the first thing noticeable is that none of the signs are equal. We begin the pursuit by looking at the positions for epoch 2010, when the full moon was eclipsed in the heart-of-sky where the SSP is currently located. Bear in mind that where Gregorian dates are used in the main, that there is no year zero. That calendar jumps from 1 BCE directly to 1 AD. Consult table 2 below for the definition of the various eons according to the Gregorian calendar. None of this negates anything the Maya have to say about time cycles. This is for the ease of reference to all of us who are more familiar with Gregorian dates.

Analysis of the zodiacal signs through history

The current cycle of development commenced some 12,600 years ago, or 10,600 BCE (1). That was the point of a major global catastrophe that saw the beginning of the end of the last ice age, the extinction of all large animals in north and central America, the end of the first Clovis people, the creation of the Niagara escarpment, a 200 foot rise in sea level and an upward temperature shift by 5 degrees Celsius in a couple of decades. Evidence suggests that an impact occurred at that point that triggered the massive changes and the end of any then existent civilizations. The popular story of Atlantis has its roots here. During this era, the Summer Solstice Point was in the ecliptic zodiac location of Ophiuchus, the Serpent Bearer, which many works today assign to Scorpio. It is interesting to note that one of the translations of Ophiuchus is into that of the Devil, “that old serpent” of the Bible (2). That characteristic was subsequently transferred to Scorpio when Ophiuchus was dropped from the zodiac. The Fall Vernal Point was in Aries and the Spring Vernal Point was in early Virgo. This is approximately opposite the arrangement we see today, about half a precessional cycle later. Some people place a lot of importance in this relationship as the heart of sky marked the Winter Solstice Point. We will be considering how the long count bears on this relationship in due course, but what is under consideration at this point, is the relationship of the sky to natural earth events and the history of civilizations.

The next events in natural history are the events around 11,000, 8,400 years and 8,000 years ago. The first even occurred with Virgo as the Summer Solstice Point and this can be narrowed to the time of the May Point in Leo as seen in the chart above. As the Summer Solstice Point precessed into Leo, the disaster of 6,000 BCE occurred. It is at the point of 4,000 to 3,500 BCE that the current rise in civilization considered to have begun in the Euphrates and the Nile (3). At this time, the Spring Vernal Point entered into Taurus-Orion, or the heart of sky. That civilization is considered at this time to have sprung up in Middle East and Africa, which for the most point, managed to escape the great disasters. Africa is unique in the world that it managed to maintain its mega fauna such as the elephant, the hippo, rhino and giraffe. The largest cats, the lion and tiger also managed to survive into the modern era. In the western hemisphere all the mega fauna went extinct. Out of Africa, high civilization emerged and spread in the current round. People lived in other parts of the world including in the western hemisphere and there is some evidence that civilization began to flower there at the same time, some of it dating to around 6,000 BCE. It is the African-Egyptian counterpart though that ended up being spread to the rest of the world, as it was the strongest and most vibrant after the ages of chaos.

From here we can trace the influence of the Olmec from the African-Nile region of upper Egypt dating to 1,500 BCE. This era is another transitional point where a great catastrophe struck in the form of Santorini in the Aegean dated to 1636 BCE according to Greenland ice cores (6). The May Point was in Orion aka, the heart of sky at this time. The May Point is important as this was one of the days the sun was directly overhead in the Nubian region of Africa at 14 to 15 degrees north Latitude. Could it be that the mega volcanic explosion that not only inspired the story of Moses (7), also caused an exodus to the western hemisphere? The date is tantalizing to say the least as it was a major transitional point in history. As a mention of interest, the August Point enters Cancer in 2010, which also figured as the year of the beginning of the new long count of Dec. 22, 2010 according to the heart of sky eclipse. This mention will be developed later. We know for a fact that the famed Minoan civilization (4,5,6) came to a sudden end and there is more than one account of its demise. The flower of Minoan civilization is depicted in their own sensitive, highly developed and artistic murals that have since been uncovered in Thera. There are accounts in Egypt of that civilization and the trade that was going on with them prior to 1636 BCE. During and after 1636 BCE there were events that characterize a huge natural disaster and mass migrations out from that region of the world to points east, west and south. The natural disasters are detailed in the Bible in the ten plagues of Egypt that parallel other accounts from other sources (8). We know of the eastward migration, as one account is given in the Bible. According to the account, that migration took a period of 40 years, about the length of time it takes for the climate to settle after a catastrophe of this type that “darkens the sun” at noonday. We have a closer point in history of a darkening of the skies at 535 AD (9,10), which will be detailed later. There was also no doubt, a southward migration, though information on this is sketchy. There is also a westward migration past the pillars of Hercules to what was to become Olmec territory in the eastern part of Maya territory of 1,500 BCE approximately (11) The Olmec were to influence the people of this region, giving them the calendars, sky oriented temple and medicine wheel building, mathematics, writing and the ball game.

We now turn our attention to the rise of the age of Aries that is characterized by the beginning of the Roman Empire (753 or 625 BCE) (12, 13) particularly during the precessed first decanant of Aries. Many sources will agree that the age of Aries ended in the sidereal sense at 240 to 230 BCE, which coincides closely with the expansionist phase of Roman conquest beginning in 215 BCE and imperialism that was to last until the 6th century and beyond in the form of the Catholic Church. Some will put the date for around the time of Jesus Christ. However, the Biblical account states “Behold the lamb of God slain before the foundation of the age (1 Peter 1:19-21, Rev 5).” In other words, we are to understand that the age of Aries had already come to an end and the Pisces age was already underway, particularly with references to “fishers of men” (Matt. 4:19). This was also the time when many expected a Messiah figure to appear and liberate those who were bound by tyranny and imperialism. According to the written accounts of Caesar Claudius, the real messiah of the time was the self appointed one in the form of King Herod in Israel (14) during the rebellious phase that was to eventually result in the sacking of Jerusalem and Israel in 70 to 73 AD ending in the Jewish diaspora. The Roman Empire was to have a major impact in much of the developed world at the time and even left traces of its existence in the world ice cores. The only other civilization that has done that, is the one of current era since the industrial revolution and the atomic age. It can be accurately said that the Roman era began in the Aries age, but only began its expansionist phase during the Pisces eon, a period that we are still in. The Pieces eon has carried the Roman influence from that day to this, with the Roman Catholic Church and the regalia used in the Nazi period.

The Fall Vernal Point entered Virgo in 1867 AD. This was an era of industrial expansion from the evolving industrial revolution, It was the era of the post Civil War in the US (1861 to 1865) and the movement to monetarist intervention in US policy from Britain through the banker Rothschild clan (1871) (15). In this same era, the trail of tears unfolded in the final days of the Indian Clearing Act (1831 to 1838) (16) ending at the Wounded Knee incident in 1890 during the ghost dance (17). There was also turmoil in Europe with plenty of social issues that placed Karl Marx in the forefront and the development of the Communist Manifesto (1848) written in a period of many European upheavals (18). Turmoil in Europe culminated in the Paris Commune of 1871 (19).

The Summer Solstice Point moved in the sidereal sense into Taurus-Orion-heart of sky in 1974 AD and will complete the transit of the Orion part by 2187 AD but will still be in Taurus. The 1974 period saw a challenge to the US economy by the Arab world in the form of shutting off the oil supply that was to see, first a crippling of the US economy then and later the deposition of the Shah of Iran by the Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979. The US has essentially been at war with the Arab world ever since and a dual escalation in 1991 and 2001.

The period of 2010 is dual Maya point with the start of a new long count and the movement of the August Point into Cancer in the same year. This has a relationship to the 1636 BCE May Point in the heart-of-sky. The Dec. 21St, 2010 winter solstice lunar eclipse occurred in the heart of sky making another relationship. As we are now seeing for the 2010 cycle, the years before, during and after have been a busy period for world economies, mass social unrest, earth changes, two huge ecological disasters and weird weather. The weird weather and earth changes bear a striking resemblance to the 1636 BCE event. There is a difference! The event of 1636 BCE was sudden with long lasting consequences. The current one has gradually sneaked up on us as a result of our industrial and recreational emissions and global dimming that has lead to wild and weird weather, just like in earlier epochs,

  15. “Now what did the Rothschilds want? Their desires may be estimated fairly accurately by quoting the opinion given by Disraeli on the future of America when the Civil War was over:—“It will be an America of armies, of diplomacy, of rival States and manoeuvering Cabinets, of frequent turbulence, and probably of frequent wars.” (Annual Register, 1863, N.S. cv.21). Disraeli was Lionel Rothschild’s mouth-piece. The Rothschilds wished to reproduce in America the chaotic conditions obtaining in Europe whereby they ruled all States; a united America would be too powerful for them; it must be split, and now was the time to do it, but it was awkward that Napoleon III. would not work with them! What were they to do? There was only one answer. Support both sides and prevent a win outright for either side, and so force apart the North and the South, with the possibility of the North becoming annexed to Canada. In practice, this meant helping the weak South more than the strong North.“
