Practical Assignment 2

This hub is another practical assignment part of my PTLLS course. I have included my session plan of the session that I used to deliver my micro-teaching session. I was advised that this session can be from my scheme of work or different. I was given a total of 30 minutes for my session. I divided it as 25 minutes + 5 minutes for assessment. Included below is a scanned copy of my session plan as it had tables. I have also redacted all the confidential information from the session plan for confidentiality purposes.

Produce session plans for a minimum of 30 minutes:

These can be from the scheme of work or different. This should be a combination of two 15 minutes sessions or one 30 minutes session for micro teach or one session of at least 30 minutes for teaching practice

If you look at the page above, you can see that my session has three objectives, all of which the learners will be well knowledgeable in by the end of the session, and that is how the session is planned.

Page above clearly tells how the session has been timed. I have distributed the time between the different topics in the session. I will finish off my teaching session, classroom activity, group activities, demonstrations etc. in 25 minutes and spare the last 5 minutes for the assessment.

You can also see what topics I will be covering, what resources I will be using, the teaching and learning activities and also the types of assessments as the session goes on.

By the end of the session all the objectives will have been met, completed by a small assessment.

I will be producing my assessments in a different hub. Please follow link below.

P.S: On a kind note, please do not copy anything submitted here and display them in your file. This has been published here, purely to help you gain an idea / understanding of what they expect you to write and how you have to write. You will have to relate to your own subject area, experience in your classroom and lectures while preparing the files. Thank you for your co-operation.
