The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse sky shows his handywork. Psalm 19:1

In the comfort of sleep, a living picture appears. The world as a canvas receives colorful images from the hand of God. Behold, the clouds are alive with joy. Nature sings with voices of harmony, ringing and echoing the praises of God. O Lord, how majestic are the works of Your hands! The heavens are a witness of Your continued faithfulness. All creation came from Your spoken word, and all creation thanks You, even the nations. The sun in the heavens reveals Your heart’s warmth while the stars depict the light of Your revelation. For the elect, You change the seasons to foretell the course of our lives. You have made all good things flourish. Who else, O Lord, is worthy of glory and honor?

Through thunder You speak, and with lightning You allow the earth to partake of Your holiness. The rolling green plains, as a sea of expression, delight in You. Each blade of grass whispers Your name while the honeysuckle tells of Your sweetness. I have beheld Your beauty with which none can compare. Through the beauty of simplicity, You have revealed the truth and made all Your works transparent to the simple.

You have pierced my heart with tender words. Oh, how I yearn for Your presence and mourn at Your departure. Your Spirit blows through the recesses of my mind as the wind, and it appears that a symphony has sounded. How pure is the wave of the Spirit! As the waves beat upon the shore, so does my heart for Your visit. For You come with seeds of wisdom and healing in Your wings. As the seed that is sown yields a harvest so will those who have trusted You and planted Your word in their hearts.

Whereas You have performed all things wonderfully, I come and surrender at Your throne and render praise.
