# Math's Uses in Real LIfe

## Use of Math

## Use of Math in Real Life

I haven’t liked math since I was a kid. Always wondered why we study math so as I got older I kept focusing on how and where math used in everyday life?

**I got the answer to my question but if you haven't found it yet, come on let's talk about it.**

Whether we like it or not, the subject matter of mathematics affects all aspects of life. Even people with math problems or phobias can't escape its daily presence in their lives. From home to work and the middle ground, math is everywhere. Whether we use measurements in a formula or decide that half a tank of gas will make a destination, we all use mathematics. Therefore, it is a good idea for teachers and parents of hesitant math learners to use real-world examples to ignite a spark of practical interest.

The mystery of mathematics, its depth and depth is a manifestation that is tested from different angles. Let's take a tour of these mysterious valleys of mathematics.

We will discuss math’s purpose in the following ways.

- In houses
- kitchen
- Art
- Technology
- Past
- Architecture
- Traveling
- Engineering and Science

### In houses

Some people don’t even get out of bed before facing math. While setting alarms or snoozing, they might have to work out another opportunity to start ahead of schedule. Or then again they might step on the washroom scale and conclude that they will drop the additional calories at lunch. people with medicines need to understand different doses, whether in grams or milliliters. Plans call for ounces and cups and teaspoons - all estimations, all math.

### Kitchen

Apply math to the kitchen. When cooking, you usually have to adjust the amount of a recipe to serve more or fewer people. Whenever you copy or share a formula, you are using math. Use them to understand the proportions of cooking. For example, if one prescription requires one cup of milk and two flours, the ratio of milk to flour is 1: 2 or ½.

### Art

From balances, angles, perspectives, drawing circles or rectangles, mathematics is used to provide measurements, analyses, averages, and some statistics. From time immemorial, artists and design masters raise the question of how an object can divide into two parts, and with a perfect and harmonious result, they also wonder about the relationship between the measurement of these things. Who makes something beautiful. Plato, Euclid, and other thinkers found a way to divide an object into two parts using geometry, in which mathematical formulas were applied to give appropriate results for artistic and creative purposes.

## Technology

Much of the technological advancement and ongoing research is due to a large number of mathematical calculations. Engineers, inventors, or creators translate their ideas and find the necessary formulas to create the elements that have given life to telephones, computers, connections, and much more. Existing electronic devices already have a combination of mathematics and even if it seems or doesn't feel like it, they are used all the time. A clear example of this is the clock, which calculates the time to indicate the exact time. In computer use, for example, the use of mathematics when translating functions and actions, when performing an application, and even when interacting with a game. In all these cases, numerical science continues to wok

## Past

Some countries, such as Egypt, China, India, and Central America, have made significant contributions to mathematics throughout history. Therefore, mathematics has existed since ancient times and has been evolving over the years. The Sumerians were the first to develop a counting system. Later, a group of mathematicians developed mathematics that included simple operations, multiplication, and division. Later, he began working with geometry, which has been a key element in many fields, such as architecture. Mayans devised a calendar system based on arithmetic, and it is possible to talk about today, birthdays, holidays, historical events, and much more. Mathematical estimates came to light about 5000 years ago, and since then humans have not stopped applying them.

## Architecture

Mathematics is very important at this point because it is possible to build houses and other buildings, bridges, tunnels, means of transportation, and other means among others. It is important to know the latitude, proportion, dimensions, quantity of building materials, general calculations, and endless statistics that are directly related to mathematics.

## Traveling

Passengers often consider their miles per gallon when traveling for the daily commute, but when encountering obstructive routes they may need to re-calculate and incur additional costs in miles, time and money. Have to consider It is important for air travelers to know departure times and arrival schedules. They also need to know the weight of their luggage, unless they take some risk in the luggage. Once on the plane, they can enjoy some simple math related to the aircraft such as speed, altitude, and flight time.

## Engineering and science

Mathematics applied in various mathematics or engineering and used as a tool for discovering perspectives or solving problems, analyzing cases from data, equations, or formulas which are of great benefit to humanity, Can be good.

In addition, this science helps to determine or predict any issue with climate and nature, which is useful for avoiding hazards. Similarly, it is possible to find new places or to understand a certain phenomenon.

## Math is Everywhere

We use math all the time and in every task but we don't recognize it. I couldn't explain many things but I am listing some things in the use of mathematics.

- Finding a route or speed
- Detect area, circle, and volume
- Determine the time and place of objects
- The decline of centers, chemical reactions
- Explain theories in physics and chemistry
- Calculate work, potential, torque, momentum
- Dual circuits of current, string, vibrations, LCR
- An increase in the population of a city or country
- Solve everyday problems, and analyze the situation
- Calculate the minimum and maximum values of the functions
