Saving a photo to your computer without having to scan, load or plugin anything!
Many people online already know how to save a photo or image to their computers. This article is designed for everybody who is new to uploading, saving and sharing images online. It is unbelievable how there are some things that are so simple, they become difficult. Simple instructions and how to's can be very complex to someone who has no experience.
Are all images online free? The answer is no, not all images online are free to use. This article on how to use images legally on your website or blog may be a great read for some. How did my friend get my picture without me giving it to her? These are just a couple of questions that arise when somebody is new to saving photos to their computer. Not everybody is as experienced and knowledgeable about computers than others. Getting basic computer help may be difficult. With the Internet educating others, computer help questions have no limit.
Uploading photos from your camera and or cell phone is a time consuming process for many. There is a simple and stress free method of saving images and photos to your computer. If you plan on working online this method will come in handy when you want to save and share your personal and business photos online.
After reading this article, many will say "Duh, I already knew that" or they will say "wow that article will really help me"! For those who already know this method, share your knowledge with others who do not know the things you do.
Use your computer Mouse to save images to your computer!
Save photos from the internet to your computer by using your computer mouse. You can right click on just about any image via the internet and save and use that photo or image. If you like and want to have a friend's photo via the internet, ask and then save it to your computer. As silly as this may sound, I freaked out when I saw that my friend had my photo on her profile. I was thinking, how did she get that photo without me giving it to her? She simply right clicked on my photo and saved it to her computer. I was stunned and then tried it myself, it really worked.
Be careful of photo copy right laws. You can't just go steal images online. You have to get permission from the owner of the photo. "Give credit where credit is due" is a phrase I have heard several times when I use images online. There are many websites that offer free photos for you to use. Even if it states "Free photo" or "Free Images", you need to list the website url where the photo was taken from. Copy right laws are a serious matter and there is no way of getting away with stealing others work.
If you are an online article writer and you upload images to your work, make sure you display the place that you got your free or purchased pictures. There is a website and example below.

@lilylover, You should be able to purchase a usb cord and hook it to your camera and the other end to your computer. Then go into control panel to cameras and set up your camera software. You should be able to download your photos to your computer. Your camera handbook should give detailed instructions. I hope this helps you.

To Untrained: Just do a SEARCH using the criteria (WithOUT Quote Marks) search for "*.bmp, *.jp*, *.gif".
In computerese, * means anything. It is a wild card. so the command above asks the computer to search for (any file).bmp (Bitmap), (Any file).jpg (or jpe) JPEG, a photography file type, and (any file).gif Graphic Interchange Format. The list will take a long time to compile, and you will have to scroll through many iterations of icons and backgrounds, but you should be able to find them. Have paper & pencil, write down where they are, and use My Computer to move them to the My Pictures directory. They will then be easy to find. Good luck, Untrained, be patient, and you won't be untrained forever.

Furious, once you plug your camera in, your pictures should download to your computer.("Recognizing new hardware") This article title is how to save a picture to my computer, not how to get pictures off of a camera. My digital camera had a disk that downloaded the program to my computer and then I saved the pictures using the recommended program.
