How do Butterflies Survive
In order for a butterfly to survive, it needs food, shelter and air to breathe. Most butterflies will get their food needs from the nectar found in flowers, which they suck up with their tongues, but some butterflies also drink tea sap.
Many butterflies produce scents that attract the opposite sex. Many of the scents often smell like the flowers they are attracted to and visit. The scent of these butterfly-pollinated flowers might have evolved as an adaptation that made use of the existing attractiveness of these scents.
