Online Stores Like Asos
Are you looking for other sites like Asos? There are plenty of great online clothing stores available, aimed at the young adult market, where you can shop for the latest fashion trends at great prices.
Asos is one of the largest online stores in the United Kingdom and has expanded its service to other countries in the past few years (including Australia, USA, Germany, and France). With this expansion, it has grown its unique modern fashion reach across the world while also delivering very competitive pricing.
Its network of websites are are known for offering a variety of branded fashion lines along with their own product lines at bargain prices. I've always enjoyed shopping on Asos but sometimes find their collection lacking for my style, so I decided to investigate what alternatives are out there.
The online shopping sites here all offer a great shopping experience, shipping to a wide variety of locations, regularly hosting sales and constantly introducing new items. Stop by the comment section at the bottom of the page to share your favourite or announce a site I missed.
Boohoo is one of the most popular online shopping stores that caters to females with a large range of women's fashion. The site also offers a decent collection of male fashion that grows every day, but the focus is definitely on its female audience (like most online shopping experiences).
This online store offers fashionable clothing options at affordable prices. Launched in 2006, Boohoo has quickly grown to include many places including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Europe, and more. Bargains are everywhere, from the regular sales to discount codes and even student discounts.
Boohoo is always updating their collection and even includes celebrity and catwalk-inspired pieces in its collection, making it one of the best online stores for the fashion-forward female.
Shopbop is a big online store that offers fashion for women with a focus on designer-inspired pieces. The site is based in the US but does also offer international shipping if you find something you like—and the shipping fees won't break the bank, either.
The site launched back in 2000 and has a large collection of designer accessories and apparel in a variety of styles, meaning there is something for everyone. Shopbop also has a large selection of bags, unlike other stores that only stock a few.
Best of all, Shopbop allows you to browse the collection by designer, so you can easily keep track of your favourites. Alternatively, you can browse boutiques to find what you are after. These more advanced search options are perfect for navigating through the thousands of items.
3. Charlotte Russe
Charlotte Russe has a similar but clothing collection to BooHoo (featured at number one on this page) and even includes a decent children's section.
Charlotte Russe is somewhat cheaper than BooHoo, though (in terms of dollar value, not quality). They offer amazing sales (often up to 75% off) and happy hour sales on a regular basis (be sure to subscribe, so you don't miss out).
It's an American store focusing on vintage and indie clothing but also accessories and even décor. You'll even find an active blog covering lifestyle trends including fashion, music, cooking, and even green living.
It offers year-round free US shipping on orders over $50 (so most purchases with multiple items will qualify).
Yoox has been online since 2000. The site is based in Italy but ships products worldwide and offers a huge range of women's, men's and kids' fashion. Yoox also offers art and interior decor options.
Best of all, Yoox offers tracking on their products, and because they have various warehouses around the world, products can be shipped quickly— you won't have to wait long to wear your new clothes (which is always a BIG plus).
Yoox also has mobile applications for Android and iOS devices that allow you to browse easily their catalogue of products on your phone, which is always a great way to pass the time.
Topshop is a another British-based retailer that focuses on fashion, accessories, everyday clothing, and beauty products. It has hundreds of stores across dozens of countries which allows buyers to try things on or pick up their orders from the store to save on shipping.
The best feature of Topshop is that it offers year-round 10% discounts to students in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. They have great sales on basic pieces but don't have many special offers for the hottest fashion items, unfortunately.
Topshop also features an extensive collection of beauty products.
MotelRocks is your number one destination for party clothing and dresses if you're the type of person that loves the party fashion scene. It is based in the UK and offers free shipping to UK shoppers and to plenty of other countries at an affordable price.
MotelRocks strikes a good balance between vintage and trending fashions so it caters to a large demographic, which is particularly great for fashion lovers with varying tastes or ones still trying to decide on their ideal fashion look.
MotelRocks also offers an active blog with plenty of fashion advice. The blog is great for fashionistas who like to know what is trending.
Forever21 is a popular clothing retailer with stores across America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The site has a similar product line to Asos, with low prices and a regularly-updated catalogue of products.
Forever21 also runs an active blog full of fashion tips, competitions, and other fashion industry-related news. It offers free shipping on orders over $50, which is actually quite hard to reach (a testament to its affordable prices) but if you bundle items together, you won't have too much trouble.
Browsing by new arrivals or bestsellers is always guaranteed to deliver some impressive results. Because of its vast collection, it also makes a great option for gifts (through their gift card option).
8. American Eagle Outfitters
American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) is a great online store that has really ramped up in popularity in recent years, with one of the largest male fashion collection of all the stores featured on this page. It hasn't forgotten about its female audience, though, with an ever-growing number of women's items that has slowly tipped the site towards a 50/50 gender mix.
A big draw is its AERewards program which rewards you with discounts for making regular purchases and also grants access to some special sales throughout the year. For regular shoppers, this program is definitely invaluable.
Karmaloop, online since 2000, is a US-based retailer specialising in street and urban fashion. It does offer international shipping, although there are some restrictions (based on brands).
Karmaloop receives millions of unique monthly visitors, making it one of the biggest and most popular stores on this page. Karmaloop has hundreds of brands and constantly runs discount sales allowing you to pick up an easy bargain.
