5 Legit Online Jobs That Actually Pay

I'm a student and free lancer. I study literature so i write quite often. Most of my articles are to help those who want to earn online.

Is it possible to earn money online?

The answer is yes. However some people make it so complicated and make it so tiring and totally not worth the effort, while others describe online work as a scam to waste other people's time and money so some low key companies can benefit. I'm going to give you some clarity regarding online passive income that is both easy, and worth your time. Below is a list of 5 legit business and job ideas that can help you earn online passive income.

1. E commerce

E commerce refers to selling a product online. You are basically selling an actual product over Amazon, Shopify and many other online shopping sites. This is the most profitable source of online income but, it is also the one that requires the most amount of online capital investment and experience. To start an E commerce business you will need to employ a chat support team, advertise your products over social media, there might be some paid advertising involved and you will also handle clients and fulfill orders. Put this aside, E commerce is the best paid online business as long as you have enough capital investment and the experience it requires.

2. Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing is pretty much the same as E commerce, however, unlike the former, affiliate marketing requires no investment. You can start without a penny in your pocket and you do not have to worry about having a large team of individuals having to work for you. In affiliate marketing you basically form the bridge between a business and a consumer. Here is how you do it:

Most sites such as Amazon and Shopify have an affiliate marketing plan. As an affiliate your task is to attract traffic and sales towards someone's products. You have to post adds of the product over your social accounts or blogs. Now if anyone purchases the specific product from your link, you would earn a small commission for the sale. Generally, an affiliate makes around 150- 250 $ or more a month working 2-3 hours a day or less. You just have to be patient as sales are not just gonna start flowing in right after you start. It might take as long as a week or even a month before you actually sell anything. But once you start making some sales, you start building trust and more sales start coming in.

3. Drop shipping

Drop shipping is also where you sell products to people. Drop Shipping is something in between affiliate marketing and E commerce- drop shippers get an order from a consumer and pass them on to the supplier. You need a small capital investment to start with, however, it is not as much as is required to start an E commerce business. And unlike affiliate marketing, drop shippers have to sell the product instead of just bringing in a buyer. You are supposed to get a buyer and then your supplier takes care of delivering it to the consumer. The supplier will keep his commission (product cost and delivery charges) and you get a small portion of the profit from the sale. Your earnings will depend on the numbers of sales you make.

4. Online Freelancing

Online freelancing is more like remote, home based office work. Freelancers take orders from employers and then fulfill them for money. Usually the employers are from developed countries who seek to employ workers from developing countries as they charge less as compared to native workers. The work is of different types and the pay rates depend on the skill level required for a particular job. Video editing, Programming, and logo designing usually pay more as compared to copy typing, writing, and data entry and low skilled workers often suffer from low pay rates and loads of competition. There could be as many as a hundred bids for a job that doesn't require a high skill level. Here are some of the most trusted freelancing websites:
