Corvette has been around for a long time. Their engines used to be in the front, now they are put in the back. By 2007, the world witnessed what will play a huge role in the evolution of supercars. The C7 Corvette began production. The car was originally planned to be launched in 2011. Instead, it was in the early year of 2013. The mid engine and rear engine was considered but, it was also too pricey. To lower the cost a front engine was put in there.
The C7 marked a bullet change that really walked a thin line. All while keeping the corvette’s legacy in tact. Tom Peters designed the vehicle. He also developed the C6 Corvette. He was given a free reign on the C7 Corvette. Peter's was allowed to create something truly unique and design really paid off. The car is a thing of beauty. The car has an L 216.2 liter V8 with 455 horsepower and 460 foot pounds of torque. It goes from 0 to 60 in 3.8 seconds.
The features are great but, there were numerous class action lawsuits with it. This car needed changes . The next with those changes were in pre production mode. By its end, the C8 came along as it's successor. The 8th generation sports car was chosen for the mid-engine finally. It's the first car they put it into. I bet you that it's not the last. I’m going to give you a brief breakdown of the all new Chevy Camaro ZL 1. Before that, I would show you the C8 Corvette.
The C8 corvette 2022 is three Lt Z51 equipped. The style for this car is amazing. This car has the best interior of any corvette.
The stitching is amazing in there.
There's a good size door pocket in it. Like all cars, there is an air bag. In addition, you have a fancy divider. The divider holds all your AC controls on it. Amenities of this interior include…..
• Bose Sound System
• 8 Speed DCT
• Rotary Knob
• 8 Inch Entertainment System
• Z on the Steering Wheel
• Remote Start
• D Shaped Steering Wheel
The Z on the steering wheel stands for Z mode. Once you hit it, you can go into the adjustments and set up everything exactly the way that you want it. All of these seats are the full competition seats. The car is right around $91,000
The 2022 Chevrolet C8 Corvette is a mid engine, American sports car. The Chevrolet Corvette has been around since 1953. The 8 is because we are on our 8th generation. The set up is amazing.
Corvette has been brining performance for generations. With this car, it was taken up a notch. They also brought practicality. When you think of a sports car usually that’s something that’s not included.
• Led Technology
• 6.2 liter V8 Engine
• 495 horsepower
• 470 pound fitted torque
• 3647 pounds
• 0-60 in 2.8 seconds
• 190 miles an hour
What makes this so special having 13 cubic feet of space in the rear. The 2022 C 8 Corvette is a very practical sports car. If you want a practical supercar, this is it.
You notice something new with each color you choose. This world is going in a new direction and these cars prove it. With the C8 there's a color called red mist. Red Mist looks stunning in the Florida sun. Lots of metallic flake you’ll see up front.
I spoke of the LED technology earlier. That includes LED headlights, LED daytime running lamps and led turning signals. Other Chevrolet products may have this same technology.
The carbon flash paint job gives it a to gloss black color. It gives it a nice kind of upscale look. Everything on the car is fully functional. This car meets all the requirements it needs to for you and pedestrians to be safe.
Inside the vehicle is surely nice. Nice but it is not enough. In fact, in most cars it is not. I feel that more emphasis is put on the exterior on all cars. Looks are not everything but, they are a key factor. There is a lot of Alcantara in there. Everything is very nice for this price range of the car. What's interesting is the fact that it has heated and cool seats.
With that being said about the interior of cars, this is considered to be subpar. This car comes with a six feet manual. It's lightning fast and has a good working transmission. This car is lightning fast. If it does a lightning lap around a track you will notice it's super speed. In under the three minute it's seen.
• 4 Seater
• Rear-Wheel Drive
• WiFi Hotspot
• Bluetooth Connection
• Aluminum Wheels
The Steering wheel has a ZF Electric Variable Power Rack & Pinion. Use the technology. That's what it's there for. Become a better/ faster driver. Just make sure that you are safe.
This car is the beast of the roads. Since it's first was produced, its been a beast but this one is different. It says a lot about the ones in the future as well. Some roads don't allow it on them. The muscle car is exciting but, it is very rare.
When you have a chance to experience one that’s a great opportunity. Not all opportunities must be taken but this one you shall. This absolute maniac. This car is a step up from the previous models.
• 6.2 LT4 Supercharged V8 engine
• 640 Horse Power
• 0-60 in 3.5 Seconds
• 868 Newton Meters
• 23 port methanol injection kit
The Ls has a 4 cylinder engine and other models of V6. This model is obviously a lot angrier. Its so punchy coming out of the corners. This car has the front bumper from a ZL11. A carbon splitter chameleon front windscreen to protect the owners privacy. Custom black badges and a new rear diffuser. It is right below the one early rear spoiler so it looks just as mean as it drives.
As you could see, this is a muscle car. One of the most powerful ever made by corvette. The engineers seemed to cut corners for the sake of performance. They stuffed a v-8 (Supercharged) between it's fenders. This fire breathing dragon has ferocious capabilities.
Chevy dealers created this model in 1969. They used GM's copo special order system. With this system, they created racing-intended models. After a long hiatus, it resurfaced in 2016. It contained an alpha rear-wheel-drive platform. From then on, it has upgraded yearly. Each car commemorates the very first camaro of 1967.
The verdict of this car is simple to see. If it's not, allow me give you one. Not only is the Zl1 the ultimate Camaro. It has proven time and time again that it is the king of the race track. That is why it was made. The streets cannot handle it. Like most cars, there are some lows. Lows that most buyers overlook.
- Seeing it out is a struggle
- Interior Materials are subpar
- 1 LE Models' masochistic ride
