Stars have special meanings to different folks. Some star sayings that come to mind: When we are in love we have "stars in our eyes." We "see stars" after getting hit in the head. To "aim for the stars" is to set your goals high. We say,"Bless your lucky stars," when something has turned out well. In anticipation of a great future, we say "Hitch your wagon to a star." "Star crossed lovers" signifies a love that wasn't meant to be. "Thank your lucky stars" is to be thankful for the good things that you have or that happen.

I read a saying many years ago and it reminds me of how important "attitude" is. The saying is this: Two men stood at the prison bars. One saw mud and the other saw stars. I like to think that I'm like the one who was looking up and saw stars.
