Are Fairies Real? University Professor's Photos Say Yes

To some people, the claim that fairies do actually exist may seem completely ridiculous. Others believe simply for the joy of having belief in something magical but what if there really was evidence for the existence of fairies?
Well, there might be.
Professor John Hyatt, lecturer and director of the Manchester Institute for Research and Innovation in Art and Design at Manchester Metropolitan University, claims that he has genuine photographic evidence of the existence of fairies and has made it clear that the images are genuine and are not a hoax.
The professor claims to have photographed tiny winged creatures with humanoid looking bodies whilst out in Rossendale Valley, Lancashire, over the course of two years. After posting the images on social media sites, they attracted a lot of attention and now Professor Hyatt is setting up an exhibition called Rossendale Fairies at the Whitaker Museum in Whitaker Part, Rossendale.

Of course, Professor Hyatt has been cautious enough to make it clear that he doesn't believe the fairies he photographed have any kind of special powers or that they "go home and have a cup of tea at the end of the day".
The professor also claims that he was initially quite shocked by the images when he increased them in size and even went back out to photograph flies and gnats in order to compare the photographs.
As Professor Hyatt pointed out, there are already much stranger things in the world than fairies and it's important to keep an open mind. However, without jumping to any conclusions, he also made it clear that people should decide for themselves what they believe these creatures are.

I believe in fairies because once when my father was in a bog he saw some humanoid shapes with purple stockings. (They had human arms and legs.) He said they looked as if from a different dimension and they were there for around 15 seconds. My mother who doesn't believe in magic also saw them the same way but she still doesn't believe they were real.

i am always looking for the "newest" discoveries! Fairies are one of many i'd like to see for my own eyes! I'll go looking for sure to prove that fairies are real. Besides fairies are magic, and magic is real, you just gotta find it. Right?

Haha. Professor John Hyatt (professor of art and design, a singer in a rock band and a specialist in 'innovation in art' - ie: not a science professor) suggests that these may be fairies? The nature of his work is enough to suggest a hoax, and his quotes on other web pages which seem to direct attention away from facts and towards a need to believe in magic, all suggest that these 'fairies' - perhaps with a little photoshop doctoring - have more of an evolutionary relationship in common with midges and gnats than with magical little humanoids. Still, it's all good fun. :)
