Have you ever wondered why the original painting of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Di Vinci, is the most famous, most duplicated, written about, parodied and intrinsically most valued painting in the world? Currently displayed at the Louvre in Paris, France. It was painted in the years between 1503 and 1506, is well over 500 years old and is valued at 100 million dollars. The Mona Lisa is historical, elusive, enigmatic and classical, with many theories about her, however, there is more mystery to be revealed.
The Mona Lisa or La Giocondo also known as the Mona Lise or La Joconde in French is a pun on her last name which means the 'happy' or 'jovial' one. Although it was noted by Leonardo DiVinci's student Sali, that she was the wife of cloth maker named Franseco del Giocondo, who resided in Florence, Italy, this is only a slight truth. The painting was requested by a wealthy admirer and her mystery and lineage has been kept a tightly held and protected secret for centuries.
In an interview with members of the Freemasons and the related Knights Templar, male only membership organizations, these societies have withheld the true origins of the Mona Lisa from the public. Before moving forward, it is important to note the relevance of the Masons and Templars. The Masonic Lodge is a historical organizational structure of Freemasonry. There is ritual and symbolism and a religious component to membership where all must admit to believing in a supreme deity, be of male gender and belong to a predominantly Christian related organization. There is loyalty and mysticism passed on generationally through the lodges and some participate in learning masonic trade while others focus on the social and charitable functions of the group. Freemasonry is the fraternal order whose origins are in the European guilds of stonemasons who built the cathedrals and castles of Europe.
The symbolism is mainly, but not exclusively, drawn from the manual tools of stonemasons – the square and compasses, the level and plumb rule, the trowel among others. A moral lesson is attached to each of these tools, although the assignment is by no means consistent. The meaning of the symbolism is taught and explored through ritual. During these three rituals, the candidate is progressively taught the meanings of the Lodge symbols, and entrusted with grips, signs and words to signify to other Masons that he has been so initiated. The initiations are part allegory and part lecture, and revolve around the construction of the Temple of Solomon the first temple dedicated to the God Yahweh in Jerusalem. Rituals in Freemasonry refer to King Solomon and the building of his Temple. Masonic buildings, where Lodge members meet, are sometimes called 'temples'; an allegoric reference to King Solomon's Temple.
The Mason's sole purpose is to bring together men in the name of the Supreme Being, God and the Creator of all. What they have failed to acknowledge over the centuries in their work of constructing religious symbolism into buildings and churches across the world since Solomon's Temple and the Grand Lodges of England, is that this is a male dominated group for a reason. It is not simply a friendly men's club. All the religions of men and men who are invited to participate must also believe that this God, Yahweh, or the Supreme Being is male and supports only males as superior in religion. They must also emphasize the dominance of men, in doing so also the repression of women and denounce the feminine principle and matriarchal systems previously dominant in other historical religions pre-Judaism and pre-Christianity even pre-Egyptian up to 10,000 years earlier.
Representative of Mother Nature: The True Mona Lise
The true identity represented by the Mona Lise is an ancient mysticism and deity of Mother Nature. The name Lise is an Indigenous and Hebrew name that means 'she knows' and 'God's promise'. At first, as others have mentioned, she is an androgynous balance of male and female features..but notably female. She is seemingly pleasant as well as dignified in expression yet the shadowing around her eyes and subtle smile foreshadows something deeper such as her rather undisclosed profile in history. There are no extremes in the painting and soft lines and colors blend in a reserved pose. She is placed in front of a landscape of green nature and mountains and her eyes are equal with the horizon of the sky. The landscape speaks to her true nature that she is earth or 'the rock', the winding road, the elements as well as expansive with her mind resting within the sky. She blends with the natural environment so perhaps she is 'one' with it.
The disclosed secrets surrounding the identity of the Mona Lisa indicate she was an intelligent woman, although not necessarily nobility, who had interests in Italy, reportedly, the Vatican itself in Rome. She is reportedly also not Italian but of French descent and is why King Francis I of France acquired her painting for the French Republic where it has been prominently displayed in various villas in Versailles, where government resided in France as well as finding permanent placement as the key feature of the Louvre Museum in Paris. Why would it be so important that her image be witnessed and become familiar by French Nobles and Royalty for so many years prior to public release? Why also after placement at the Louvre is her painting the reason 70% of tourists visit the Louvre where she resides under high security beneath a glass pyramid that opens to the sky? Why also, has it been so important that her painting be exhibited in other countries such as the United States in key places such as Washington D.C and New York?
Other secrets that allude to her identity is that it is reported Mona Lisa had an intellectual connection to Da Vinci and his work and this may be the respect and familiarity we see in her eyes as he paints her. Also researcher Silvano Vinceti, Chairman of the National Committee for Cultural Heritage scanned Mona Lisa's greenish eyes and found black lettering on top of of one of them indicating letters my sources indicate are indeed a C and E referring to her nickname and maiden name. The number 72 correctly found under the bridge and the background of the painting refers to her birthday number 27 and to ancient mathematics called numerology which reduces this number to 7 + 2 = 9. The number 9 is the 'divine' number of 'justice' and 'truth' associated with this painting and relates to meanings in Asian and Greek Pythagoras Mathematics.
In Asia, due to paranoia by the Mongolians and Communist China, Intellectuals were labelled with the highest number of '9' and condemned by the government right up until the cultural revolution. Even the Beatles sang about it. It is even more mysterious in biblical symbolism because the number '8' is a lower number that represents never ending cycles and Jesus Christ in Judaism and Christianity, but the higher divine '9' represents completion, Mother Nature and is the number ultimately of God but 'also' the reflection of the beast the number '6'. Therefore, to our surprise, God is feminine and is Mother Nature who is also the Destroyer when necessary, 999 as God and 666 as Destroyer. She is the 'one'.
The Shekinah is held to represent the feminine attributes of the presence of God (Shekinah being a feminine word in Hebrew), based especially on readings of the Talmud. Judaism regards the teachings of the sacred Kabbalah, in which the Shekinah has special significance, as having scriptural authority. The Shekinah acts as intermediary between God and Man and can take human form who may reside in the space -time continuum. Although the Shekinah was enthroned in heaven, in anonymity she observed and scrutinized mankind. Shekinah is identical with the Holy Spirit. Canaan was the only land worthy of the Shekinah, which rested in the territory of Benjamin and seemingly some believe this refers to Canada.
It stands to reason that the Mona Lisa, as reported, is the top of a Royal blood line more ancient than any religion and this image is a snap shot of her as she appears at a point documented by the genius of his time, Leonardo Di Vinci. Incidentally, it took four years for Di Vinci to complete the painting of her and he reportedly took the painting everywhere he travelled for 17 years unable to part with it even until his death where it was inherited by his student Sali.
Thou Dost Protest Too Much!
Possibly the most controversial/debated claim in the book is Stones' interpretation of how peaceful, benevolent matriarchal society and Goddess-reverent traditions including ancient Egypt were attacked, undermined and ultimately destroyed almost completely, by the tribes of Hebrews and later the early Christians. To do this they attempted to destroy any visible symbol of the sacred feminine- including artwork, sculpture, weavings and literature. The reason being that they wanted the Sacred Masculine to become the dominant power, and rule over women and Goddess energies. According to Stone, the Torah or Old Testament was in many ways a male attempt to re-write the story of human society, changing feminine symbolism to masculine.
One must note, the only real remaining sacred feminine within Judaism is within the coveted Kabbalah and within Christianity that of the chaste condemned women of the Bible. The most compelling evidence that Mother Nature is God is not only in the domestication and repression of scripture about women in Judeo-Christian culture, but the absolute cover up and denial of a history where women were more than equals in an even longer antiquity.
Mother Nature as God
The idea and belief of Mother Nature as God supporting a loving, maternal and creative feminine principle is an essential historical belief found in ancient spiritualities and religions from Indigenous tribes across the world to Pagan spiritualities where in each system the Matriarchy was King and wise leaders were also female. Pagan is actually merely a pop word for any other religion that does not fit into the modern norm of female debasing and omitting religions where women are often deemed inferior to men or otherwise are historically outcast from leadership as original sinners. Paganism was actually a coined word often used to condemn any opposing ideology after Constantine's creation of the New Testament Christian Bible at the Council of Nicea at 325 A.D. The Mother Nature spiritual matriarchies were therefore delberately written out of history and repressed with genocides, crusades, colonialism, war, religion and oppression by male aggression and domination over centuries.
It is true that the female represents the creator of new life and therefore future generations. No male species or animal can admit this power of creation. Mother also represents the first loving expression and crucial emotional bond a child or human will ever know. Mothering is therefore, the creators and givers of first love and the only true everlasting unconditional love. Their bodies and their nature provide the very sustenance for sustaining life.
It is true that children deprived of motherly bonds, nurture and love early in life and even later as well, are psychologically unable to form trusting relationships or attachments with their parents or others. Mothering and love therefore, naturally spring from the wombs and wells of the feminine. Conception to birth and then nurturing are the moments that stand still in time where one is unified and closest to a loving selfless spirit of God. Mother Nature is balance and the original Creator, the most natural system conducive to life in our world.
Mother Nature has not been exalted upon high as she should be but was conquered and lay hidden within depths of mystery and so did the origins of the Mona Lisa. Mother Nature is not the aggression or opposition that arises out of misogyny or feminism, but the loving nature of creation, symbiosis and nurture that healthily leads to the encouragement of growth in living beings and systems. It is liken to the Gaia Theory, where organisms interact with their surroundings on Earth to form a synergistic self-regulating, complex system that helps to maintain and perpetuate the conditions for life on the planet.
Without her we have suffered. In witnessing the industrial revolution and the rape of the natural world, it is clear and logical to see that Mother Nature has suffered unspeakable injustices and tragedy both on a spiritual, social and global scale. Ultimately, if she is the one who will provide justice, it is she who will therefore also provide the 'final judgements'. Perhaps she is the real woman in the painting and a DNA profile, a legend, but also that nuclear life force and intelligence within all living things in our biosphere. Creation, life, love and nurture cannot exist in a vacuum and we have neglected her precious gifts. If the fast progression of runaway climate change, economic austerity and catastrophes world wide are any indicator, perhaps she has already passed her judgement? Is it too late to make amends?
