Sewing Machine Brother LS-30 Oiling

Where to Oil

Previous machines let me open them up. This one, I flipped open the bobbin door, removed the bobbin shuttle and oiled the areas noted.

Mostly the moving part. I used 3-in-One oil. Hopefully this does the trick. I'm still trying to decide if I need to open the bottom.

It Was Time to Oil

I purchased the machine 15 years ago. Actually bought 2 machines. The second one for one of my kids.

I don't sew a lot, but I do use it for mending clothes. Today was a pair of bib overalls that ripped down the inner seam.

Finally clip the bobbin shuttle back in and it is good to go.
