Sears Craftsman Vintage 12 Inch Wood Lathe
I purchased a table and attached it to the top, using bolts.
I found a motor at a Restore Store. New belt at Bongaars. I want to purchase a 4 jaw chuck, but haven't been able to find a loose one. Most are attached to new equipment.
I used to use this wood lathe at my parents home in the 1970s. I recall making a round wooden box with a lid.
I'm sure father used it for other things henceforth.
Now, he is gone and I have the lathe. I have a new belt and a new motor on it.
I have not had enough time to set things up completely, but one day at a time. Step by step.

I need more space. It feels too confined. Cramped.
I also need some sort of safety shield for confining dust chips.
