Do you know a famous unknown; like the unknown that quoted: "A birthday is just the first day of another 365 day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip."?

I want to present in this article a famous unknown. His name is Jose Fuentes Delgado; he is an artisan and he is my cousin. Let me tell you about him a little bit and you will understand why I think he is a famous unknown in which you ought to meet him at least with an article like this one.

Jose Fuentes Delgado is a Puerto Rican that came to this earth by the love between Juan Fuentes and Laya Delgado. He has six charming siblings and a loving wife. I admire this family that helped my family to stay on our feet when we came to live here in Puerto Rico from New York. Their love for us remains even though the hard times have passed away.

Jose Fuentes Delgado is known as "Chipy" by his family, friends, neighbors and those who he meets (like you today). His father is in bed for a health condition, but he has the same deep happiness in his eyes as when I was young and he is the same gentleman I have always known. His mother is an attentive person who tries her best to make you feel comfortable when you visit their home.

Jose Fuentes had a car accident many years ago and from that time he has been sitting in a wheel chair but that has not stopped his creativity. He is a skilled manual worker who makes items like cars, houses, etc. for decoration. He is an artisan since he is a person voluntarily engaged in the practice of a craft made through his own experience and talent that reaches the expressive level of an art in what he creates.

For his creations Jose (Chipy) recycles cardboard, transforming it into whatever he is asked for. Magical hands, artistic brain and talented designer; are the adjectives that I could use to describe his work.

Paper craft is the art of using paper to create three dimensional objects such as models or sculptures. This art includes: scrapbooks, calendars, greeting cards, decoupage, origami, paper mache, and decorative pieces for display. The basic tools or materials to work with are: a razor, knife, scissors, tape, glue, tweezers, paper of any kind, paint, and any other for individuality or craft needs.

Paper Crafts : How to Make Paper Gift Boxes

Famous unknown

Why do I say that he is a famous unknown? Because he has been creating crafts and giving them away as gifts. His work is perhaps decorating your wall or on a table or curio and you do not even know the name of whose hands created such wonderful pieces of art.

This family are true humble people in which the definition of love is defined by their daily acts. He has been investing and working without being paid. A gift is a gift but when the gift comes from a talented person...common sense speaks to our brains saying: "Open your wallet and pay".

We went to visit them today and I asked permission to write this hub. The purpose is to help him sell his crafts and present the person on back of many works that has an unknown artist. Meet Jose Fuentes Delgado's work from the pictures below. He is meticulous in detail and as his parents, he pleases the client. Enjoy!

Blessings to all!
