For the Love of Miscellany
The last category - Miscellaneous - is where my favorites hide.
The "miscellaneous" category is the clearance rack at the back of the store where we find the quirky fun (and affordable) clothes. It is the free box at the garage sale where we discover what we have been looking for. It is the last place we look when we are searching for something, and that is where we always find it!
These are the reasons why we Love It! This page is a catch all for a few final fun projects and I hope you love them as much as I do.

If you want to see a full tutorial on how to make Sneaky Snakes, check this one out from Thrifty Fun. It is definitely different from the rattlesnakes at the right, so be sure to check them both out and see what design elements you like from each. There is also a video below for another take on this clever craft.
Keepsake Bears from Reminkie Bears are cute, cuddly and made from neckties to commemorate a loved one, whoever he may be. Check the bears out to spark ideas of your own or to use the company's services.
I would not recommend using a silk tie for this Menswear Mouse Toy project. However, cotton or other knit neckties would be perfect to treat your cat to a soft toy stuffed with catnip. These would be cute gifts for all the cat lovers in your life as well.
In the Kitchen
Kitchen style demands a cute and kitschy apron. Made out of neckties stitched together in a vertical design, this Apron is beautiful and functional. Add a pinch of flour and a dash of water and you are ready to cook!
While you are cooking up a delicious something, enjoy a cup of coffee or hot tea, but do not burn your hand. This Necktie Mug Cozy (pictured at the right) will keep your hand cool and your cup warm. Check out the full tutorial with pictures from Lime & Aqua Studio.
Most of us have done it at least once. We have been traveling with our drab black or blue luggage and have not been sure which bag was ours on the carousel. Sure, we could search high and low for colored luggage that does not cost an arm and a leg, or we could mark our baggage with a clever Handle Cover or Luggage Tag or both. Check out the full tutorial from Craft Test Dummies.
Straps for Your Gear
Every guitar deserves a shoulder strap that is way out of the ordinary, because every guitarist I know is awesomely unique. This Necktie Guitar Strap is very cool and easy to make.
