How To Make Wire Wrapped Jewelry:7 Free Tutorials

I am absolutely amazed at some of the awesome wire wrapped jewelry I've been seeing lately online. Of course, I tried to get out there and see what freebies I could find but these free tutorials were a little bit harder to gather up as I noticed many are selling their wire wrapped jewelry tutorials for as little as 2.00. I still figured I could get a few free ones and so I did manage to get at least 7 of them all together in one place and a bonus one for a lovely DIY wire clasp. All of the sites I found these on are amazing so please do try to check them out. If you are a craft nut like me, you will be glad you did. I really do hope you enjoy these free wire wrapped jewelry tutorials!

Jamie Brock (author) from Texas on February 17, 2012:

starstream, Thank you for stopping by and for the vote.. I really appreciate it. I have yet to try my own wire wrapped jewelry except for just playing around with some wire now and again.. I still plan on starting a serious project though. As you said, I still have to make sure I have the correct tools, wire etc.. I know that is all very important. Thank you again for stopping by. Did you mean to leave a link for me or did you mean you have a beaded tutorial here on HubPages?

Dreamer at heart from Northern California on February 17, 2012:

I have made a few pieces of wire wrap jewelry. The hubs are available and it is surprising more people do not try the craft. When you prepare remember that it truly is a craft which means focus to materials, tools, and time to practice is very important. I have seen some spectacular work at art shows using this technique. I voted your hub up. I wrote an article on beaded jewelry here.

Jamie Brock (author) from Texas on February 15, 2012:

Emer420, Thank you! I appreciate the votes, too. I've learned since writing this hub, how popular wire wrapped jewelry is lately. Thank you so much for stopping by :0)

Randomcreative, Thanks for reading. Yes, I agree.. some of these are just amazing! I've done some little stuff with wire but nothing like these.. I keep thinking I need to get a spool of wire and see what i can do with it. I just think this stuff is so cool.

Rose Clearfield from Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 31, 2011:

Gorgeous pieces! I don't have the patience for intricate wire wrapping, but it is an amazing skill. (I do love little seed beads so I'm still crazy...wire just isn't where my passion is.) I'm sure that there are lots of people who will take advantage of these resources!

Jamie Brock (author) from Texas on May 29, 2011:

Thank you Zsuzsy Bee :) I appreciate you stopping by and reading. I'm glad you like the clasp.. I couldn't resist sharing that one. Hope you are having a great weekend!

Thanks for sharing these tutorials. Love the Garden gate clasp. I just happen to have some silver and copper wire. Haven't made any jewelery for a couple of years now, I guess it's time to use up what's hanging around the house.

hope you're well

regards Zsuzsy

Jamie Brock (author) from Texas on May 29, 2011:

Thank you GracieLake! I would really love to try some of these myself but I gotta go and get some wire first. I really think these are probably easier than they look, once you get the hang of it. My favorite one is the bracelet up top. Isn't that gorgeous? Thanks for for reading and for the nice comment.

GracieLake from Arizona on May 28, 2011:

Very interesting and pretty stuff. I'm not a crafter, but there are some fun ideas here.
