I have recently started collecting vintage greeting card images on the web and I have been looking for ones to turn into cross stitch patterns. This card is 100 years old and the image is a good one.
I have converted it into cross stitch, I eliminated the little boy in the picture and changed some details but it is mostly the same picture.
the finished size on 14 count Aida is 8w x 12 h. Use white or cream Aida and uses 9 DMC colors. Back stitch is gray for the cat and black for everything else.
To save the pattern, expand the thumbnails to get a larger picture then right click to save. The pattern is on 6 sheets. I have included, separately, a picture of what the finished product will look like in color.
