Crochet flowers are very pretty and can be used for many things , like embellishments on a headband a hat or attached to a pin and adorn a scarf. They are quick and easy to make.
They can be small or large and can be made of what ever type or color of yarn you choose.
It is not only easy but fun to crochet flowers.
They take very little yarn and can be made from just about any type of yarn or even string..
There are many different styles of crochet flowers that can be made.
They can be used for many different purposes.
They are great for embellishing many handmade items and even items that have been purchased.
Once you start you will be embellishing every thing in site with a beautiful crochet flower, things like, handbags,headbands,gift cards or gift bags etc.
What a beautiful bouquet they make or even the single rose or any other flower..
String them together to make a pretty garland, or add them to a wreath.
I often will crochet a flower and adorn a gift package , saving me the expense of purchasing a ready made bow..And they really do make for a pretty presentation when I color co-ordinate with the gift wrap. Did I mention that they are fun to make as well.
They can be the tiniest of tiny or the biggest of big. Depending on the thickness of the yarn and the size of crochet hook that you choose to use.

The Basic Rose
The size of the rose will depend on the size of yarn you use..
You will need to adjust the hook according to the yarn type..the finer the yarn the smaller the hook.
The courser the yarn the bigger the size of the hook.
