Crocheted scrubbers

Crocheted scrubbers

I have 2 more skeins of carpet yarn left. For the longest time, I wanted to make crocheted scrubbers for my kitchen, however, I don't want to make an overly cute scrubber because I may not want to soil it if it's too cute. So I made these very simple and quick scrubbers. With 2 skeins you can make 5 scrubbers :)

I can't get enough of these scrubbies, I made several.

You can find the Ravelry Pattern page here: Easy As Pie Crocheted Scrubbers.

Notes:

This is a very simple crocheted scrubber, the popcorn design is a clever way to further utilize the texture of this yarn. Carpet yarn are very rough and course, so these are perfect for scrubbers. It's highly washable too. Make these scrubbers on different colors and they will sure add a smile on your kitchen.

How about you, what other items did you crochet for your home?

Thank you for your comments, I just discovered how wonderful it is to save and at the same time really use a crocheted item in the kitchen :) so lucky of you to have stock yarns to make as scrubbers, these are my last skeins :)

I've been doing this for awhile now because one time I was out of scrubber's and needed to clean the kitchen it was horrible outside and didnt want to get out. So I got my yarn out I had and crocheted a couple of scrubbers and soon after had the kitchen cleaned. So now I use these instead of buying them. Saves a lot of money because you can wash them too.
