Knit Bunny Gloves
Knitting For Easter
Easter is such a fun time to knit. As I create little bunnies, chicks and eggs it gives me a feeling of new life, spring is in the air and warmer days are heading our way. I Love working with the lighter weight soft feeling yarn, and the pretty pastels that get put aside during the colder season when things seem to be heavier and darker.
There are so many things that can be knit for Easter.
Like these cute Bunny Gloves the pattern is free from Devin Cole
It is a great time of the year to get some knitting in , since you can make small items to decorate with, Or as fillers for an Easter basket...Or even knitting the basket for that matter.
Not just for bunnies, chicks and eggs, how about a pretty Easter dress, bonnet or hat for your favorite little ones..
Tuck a colorful pair of socks in a child's basket . Create a beautiful headband or a hair clip .
Or knit a pretty purse and fill it with goodies or hand knitted items that you have made .
TINY EGG HATS
These tiny hats will make an unforgettable decoration to your Easter celebration as well as a nice Easter present for your friends....I will be making at least a dozen of these.
Tiny Egg Hats is a free pattern from Craftsy
The prettiest Easter egg decoration I have seen..The egg is knitted flat and then seamed using mattress stitch. You can stuff the finished egg with polyfill / wool / cotton wadding or it will fit around a polystyrene egg.

It certainly doesn't have to be limited to Easter décor, either; try it in your bathroom holding cotton balls or on your sewing table full of little spools of thread.
