Crochet Quickie Bikini Top

Moira has been crocheting since she was 14 years old. She loves experimenting with small crochet projects.

The beach is calling! Soon our beaches will open up and a crochet bikini top is the outfit to have.

This bikini top is quick to make and does requires basic stitches. It has a chest mesh because I don’t want to be looking down on my boobs. I find it okay to wear as is even without a foam.

Measurement

Each bra pad measures:

Bottom side to center – 7.5 inches

Bottom to top – 8 inches

Gauge – 5 sc’s per inch; 5 rows of sc’s per inch

Materials

Yarns in my country are not standardized. Please use the yarn of your choice and a matching crochet hook. Make a gauge to guide you.

The yarn suggested for this pattern is made of acrylic since it does not absorb water as much as cotton. Moreover, it dries faster and does not sag when wet.

Suggested materials - Indophil yarn

Crochet hook - 3.00 mm hook

Iqra from East County & Cooking and Baking Expert on May 02, 2021:

I had in mind to crochet a bikini top without cutting off my yarn or joining in yarn. It's an easy and simple design and very quick to make as well.

Nice sharing Moira.
