A 30-Minute Earring to Crochet
This is the very first installment in a series of lacy crochet earrings that I am planning to design. As of the moment, I already have 8 designs in my handy-dandy notebook.

MATERIALS:
This earrings are crocheted with white, gray, and black polyester sewing thread using a #10 steel hook.
MEASUREMENTS:
Diamond Motif only
Length: 5 cm
Width: 4 cm
ABBREVIATIONS:
- ch - chain
- sl st - slip stitch
- tr - treble crochet
- dc - double crochet
- sc - single crochet
- sp - space
Skill Level: BEGGINER
CROCHET PATTERN:
//Pattern begins//
Foundation Ring: Ch 24, sl st to form ring. DO NOT TURN.
Round 1: Ch 3, (3 tr, dc) in first ch, 5 dc, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, 5 dc, (dc, 3 tr, dc) in next ch, 5 dc, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in next ch, 5 dc, sl st to top of ch-3, ch 1, TURN.
Round 2: 2 sc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next dc, 3 sc, sc in ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 4, sc) on tr, sc in ch-1 sp, 3 sc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next dc, 4 sc, ( sc, ch 4, sc) on tr, 4 sc, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next dc, 3 sc, sc in ch-1 sp, (sc, ch 4, sc) on tr, sc on tr, sc on top of ch-3, sl st to 1st sc.
Fasten off.

ohh i am sooo happy nakita na kita ..i have lots of dmc embroidery threads and i am also a crocheting momma...i am now finishing my bags projects and i am now looking for a more "madaling matapos" projects..love the earrings..will post it here when i am done with them...mwahhhh for the inspiration....

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but something about this pattern isn't right. While the earring is beautiful, the math for the pattern doesn't add up. Not sure if a section was missed.... it also seems that in some sections a stitch is marked as a dc when it should be a tc and vice versa. Really wish there was a chart for this one, because the end result is absolutely gorgeous

Wish you had the chart for this one, there was definitely an error in it. I think it was missing the last section in the second round. It's alright I'll be able to figure it out, but others might not.

It wasn't that awful where I lived. We're all okay now, everything is back to normal. There were a lot of help. It wasn't really that difficult (since my husband did all the cleaning, lol!)
