Dogs - if My Dog Could Talk
I watch the commercials of the forlorn dogs on the cages, and think about our dog.
If you could hear his side of the story, I wonder if it would play the same as how we see it.
I doubt it.
The commercial intones and implores me to give, a mere $19 a month. I can sponsor a dog, get its picture, and get updates on its life.
My measly $19 will gain me the end to the desperation I feel when I watch the television.
Oh. There is hope.
Maybe, just maybe I should implore others to feel compassion for my dog.
For a mere, well, even $18 a month would ensure the dog had food, a new couch now and again. I could watch for sales on soon expiring dog food...
I pondered a name for my dogs organization.
G.A.D.A.B.
Yeahhhh. Give a Damn About Buddy. (His name is Buddy)
Sigh.
Here's where the needle gets yanked off the record.
The dog is very interested in people food. Of course, today is a crackers, cheese and summer sausage day. Leftovers from New Years.
He doesn't get any. But, he is very hopeful.
