Success! Potty outside.

Success! Potty outside.

It's almost light out, so it's time to get the dog out of the kennel and outside so it can go to the bathroom before its bladder overflows.

Tori Leumas, thank you for your comment. Good luck with correcting your dog.

If you were a good trainer, you would know at least something for me to try. Sorry, but that’s just the truth. I will try to look elsewhere for information. You have been no help whatsoever.

Tori Leumas. You are your dog's own expert. My dog does not do what your dog does. So, I have no solution. No "oh, yeah, my dog did that and I solved it this way.." Sorry. If my dog starts throwing up in the house... I will definitely give you some feedback on how I solve it. Maybe like they do with potty training.. rub it's nose in it, and say "No! bad puppy..."

Tori Leumas on September 17, 2020:

She has no problem with her food. Eating outside would solve nothing. She throws up on purpose to go outside and play.

Tori Leumas, thank you for your comment. Well. Perhaps she should eat outside. [Otherwise, I got nothing...]

Tori Leumas on September 16, 2020:

No, she does fine with her food. We know she’s doing it on purpose to go outside because if we let her out while she’s retching before she throws up, she instantly quits retching and runs around all healthy.

Tori, Leumas, thanks for your comment. I do not have an answer. But, maybe, the question should focus on why it's throwing up... We had a dog that was allergic to corn dog foods, and now we only feed allergen free dog foods, like diamond lamb and rice. No corn, no wheat, no soy. We had installed a pet door for previous dogs... You would never know if they were throwing up...

Cool article. I have a question. My sister’s dog scratches on the door whenever she wants to go outside. If we don’t let her out whenever she asks, which is a lot, she forces herself to throw up. Do you have any advice to fix this?
