Bird Feed - Sunflower Seeds Specifically

bird-feed-sunflower-seeds-specifically

Sunflowers are beautiful and complex. The flower starts out yellow, covered with pollen. Then as the bees finish their thing, the flowers convert to a seed.

Then, the birds pick them out.

Mine began in the bird feeder. Birds are slobs so the seeds ended upon the ground.

One thing led to another and a plant started growing. Technically a weed. But, we left them alone.
