8 Animals That Have Amazing Powers

Some animals out there actually have powers that can heal, hurt or even make them immortal. They can do things you probably didn't know were possible so here are 8 animals that have amazing powers.

8. Gerenuk

This animal is an antelope. They are usually 80 to 100 centimetres long and have very long necks. Since they are very tall and they can reach high places that have food they want. But that's not the only special thing about them this animal doesn't need any water at all to survive because they get the water they need from their food which is why they are capable of surviving in deserts.

7. Mimic Octopus, Shape shift

This octopus is usually about 60 cm and that's about 2 feet. As their name suggests they are masters of disguise, not only can they change color but they can also use their tentacles to change shape. This technique helps them get prey and scare off predators. They can do this by changing into whatever their predator gets eaten by and they can get prey by making themselves look like prey to what they eat.

6. Planarian, Clone Machine

Planarian is a flatworm that is part of the Turbellaria class. They eat small snails and worms which are all hermaphrodites. They sometimes grow to 30 cm (about 1 foot) long. These very stubborn creatures can regenerate themselves and create a new planarian from the body part that got cut off. This allows them to increase their population quickly and makes killing them hard.

5. Immortal jellyfish , life cycle loop

The Immortal Jellyfish, also known as Turritopsis dohrnii are like no other species, if they are threatened they can restart their life cycle infinitely and have no maximum life span, making them immortal. The Turritopsis dohrnii, are found worldwide in tropic water which is their natural habitat. Once they are fully grown these jellyfish are only about 4.5 mm (0.18 inches) which is as big as your pinky nail. The Turritopsis dohrnii usually eat plankton, tiny molluscs, larvae and fish eggs.

4. Alpine Ibex, spider goats

These goats are very unique due to their curved horns. They rely on salt for their bones to grow and so they can become stronger and mature. Meaning that without salt they won't be capable of continuing their life normally. There is a clip showing them climbing a man made dam just to get some salt. They are capable of climbing the most vertical walls and hills also making capturing them very hard.

2. Mantis Shrimp, Bullet Fish

This shrimp has a powerful hit that can break aquarium glass. Also if a human puts a mantis shrimp on his hand it will most likely break a few bones and it will start bleeding. These things were alive around 340 million years ago and are still alive today and their strength is as strong as a 22-caliber rifle. But that's not their only power. These things have some of the greatest eyesight and can see things and colors no average human can see.

1. Tardigrades, Tiny Gods

These things are extremely tiny so tiny that no naked eye can see them, they are about 0.5 mm (0.02 in) but regardless of their size they can survive in extremely cold and hot weather in their tun state which makes them invulnerable to different weather. To test their durability scientists took some of them and put them into space and some came back unharmed. They are also so small that they can go on huge dangerous creatures and not get noticed so they can survive. And in some cases there are some that can live to 120 years.
