By their second week, the puppies can hear and during this week their eyes begin to open. Puppies this age mostly eat and sleep, piling up on each other when they are chilled and sleeping on their backs, apart from their litter mates when they are too warm.

By three weeks of age, puppies begin to walk and wrestle with each other.
They are ready to begin exploring outside of the whelping area. Gentle games of tug with shoe laces is a favorite activity.

By five weeks old the characteristic intensity of the border collie begins to emerge. Puppies begin to play "stalk" each other and watch their people very carefully.

By 8 weeks the puppies are ready to start going to their new homes. Their ears will begin to popup and we get an idea of what type of earset they will have. Border collie puppies can have prick ears, ears that shoot out to the side or ears that tip forward.

For a small monthly fee you can upgrade your account to include a variety of their higher level functions.
Simply upload your image to their site, then you can crop it, frame it, add text and comic bubbles, as well as hats, crowns and sunglasses. The possibilities are limitless!
How to Create Your Own Greeting Cards
There are several online greeting card makers to choose from, 123Greetings has a free service where you can upload your own photo or import it from Facebook to make your own Ecard.
